Naming Ceremonies

There is nothing more exciting than bringing a beautiful child into the world. The depth of love a parent feels can often not be adequately expressed in words. For many parents/carers they wish to celebrate the name giving of their child by offering a celebratory occasion that can incorporate a special blessing for that child's life. This is not a religious ceremony, but may involve rituals and symbolic gestures that are significant for the family and their child. Others can be involved and significant people in the child's life will be honoured. I will present the written 'ceremony' to the child's parents as well as a gorgeous certificate to the child and to their 'Godparents', 'Special Mentors', 'Guiders' or whatever parents choose to name those who will support the parent/carers and the child throughout their life. 

In addition, many adults wish to change their name post a divorce, gender transition or other personal reasons. I would be very happy to support the celebration of a new name in any of these circumstances.
